Are you the HR Manager we're searching for our three Distribution Centers across Poland, with an additional one to start up  this year? 
We are looking for an HR Manager to ensure the management of all HR related matters for the Supply Chain in Poland. Read on.
 

These are your daily actions


Working at Action isn't like working at any other company. With more than 2500 stores, 13 distribution centres, hubs, crossdocks and an ambitious growth plan, our supply chain is always evolving. 
The main focus of the HR Manager is to deploy the HR strategy correctly and ensure the Supply Chain Poland, comprising of three distribution centers located throughout Poland, achieves its goals. 

The coming year we open a new DC in Poland. With your HR team in Poland, as well as colleagues from HR Services and HR Central you play an essential role in successfully establishing and managing this new DC.

To be connected you will visit each distribution center across Poland regularly. Understand their unique challenges, develop staffing plans and strategies to ensure each center is adequately staffed with the right skill sets.

Furthermore:

  • Organizing and proactively following up the HR deliverables to provide quality services on the one hand, and to contribute as a department to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives on the other. 
  • Manages the team of local HR advisors 
  • Coordination of HR processes (ensure timely and compliant preparation of reports and declarations)
  • Monitor the HR activities concerning labor and social security law, payroll, performance appraisals, training and development, recruitment and remuneration systems.
  • In cooperation with the line managers, identify and deliver the development needs of the employees within the organization
  • Develop and coordinate the introduction of HR regulations and procedures, monitor changes in labor law provisions and HR trends
  • Preparation of reports, summaries and statements resulting from applicable legal provisions and in relation with company internal tools and requirements
  • Continuously look for improvements in processes, procedures and work instructions in order to optimize the operation of the department and to achieve efficiency.
  • Implement safe working procedures and monitoring compliance with safety regulations and workplace order to ensure safe working conditions and a safe workplace for all employees of the organization.

The HR Manager SC Poland is part of the Action SC HR Department and reports directly to the Head of HR for SC, indirect report to the Regional SC Manager. 
 

Meet your team


Weekly, more than 11 million customers visit one of our 2500+ stores in Europe, and we regularly open new stores and distribution centers. It's a growing logistical challenge, requiring international collaboration to get over 6,000 products into the stores at the lowest price. 

In Supply Chain currently 10.000 People ensure the stores are full. We operate in 7 countries and will add more DC’s in more countries the coming years. Together as HR Supply Chain team we make sure the right people are motivated in their jobs. We work together as international team and with our colleagues from HR Expertise and Services. Together with the Supply Chain Operations we are One Action. 
 

This is you


You're familiar with an international Supply Chain environment and can hold your own in the fast-paced retail world. We are looking for someone who actively seeks out the needs and wishes of the internal client and delivers, when possible, even more quickly than agreed or expected from the (internal) client.

Furthermore:

  • Undergraduate Bachelor/Master level position (preferably with a degree in the field of Human Resource Management or International Business).
  • At least 5 year’s experience in a similar role is a big plus.
  • Excellent and command of the English language, verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and results-oriented.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR instruments
  • Extensive knowledge of current trends and practices within HR, locally and internationally 
  • Leadership, seniority and (professional) independence, with a clear and unconditional service orientation towards the business
  • Flexible and willingness to travel each distribution centers across Poland a valid driver's license is essential for this role;
